Greetings for Africa! We have made it and are now on day 3. As the days pass we are getting more and more comfortable with the area which is always a good thing. The rest of our team will be getting here on thurs and then we will take a bus down to Rwanda early fri morning where we will settle into our home for the summer. Your prayers for the rest of our team as they travel and for all of us as we head to Rwanda would be coveted. Today I think we will be heading into town and doing some more exploring. Perhaps try some new food and after that, who knows. We are glad to be here. A few photos from the plane and the sunrise this morning.

Ugandan sunrises are so amazing that I created my own drink, called the Ugandan Sunrise-- it's made by taking a bottle of Rwenzori water, pouring a packet of Emergen-C into it, and then adding a liberal amount of Ugandan Waragi banana gin. mmm.. that'll wake you up. and give you essential vitamins and minerals to protect your immune system.
